It all begins with an idea.

Monty and Teresa have been talking about doing a festival for many years and in 2024 decided to jump in with both feet. In 6 weeks, they pulled off the first Bluegrass on The Snake bluegrass festival in Idaho Falls. This was a one-day festival that was very successful and so they decided to grow it quickly into a full blown 3 day festival.

It is now held annually the weekend after labor day at the Rigby Rodeo Grounds at 319 Veterans Memorial way in Rigby, Idaho.

We wanted a place where we could camp, jam, and just have a wonderful time with some amazing bluegrass music playing on stage. We found the perfect place in the little town in southeast Idaho, known as Rigby. The stage and seating area is shaded and comfortable, the food is delicious, and the music is always sweet!
